Centene is seeking an engineer to support its private access services, troubleshoot access issues, onboard applications, and improve service reliability. You will work with cross-functional teams and vendors to implement secure access for enterprise apps while maintaining security standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field and 2–4 years of related experience, with knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, and identity technologies. A hybrid work arrangement is supported.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science).
• 2–4 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Experience with Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) or similar ZTNA technologies preferred.
• Knowledge of identity/authentication technologies (SAML, OIDC, Entra ID, Okta, Ping Identity).
• Strong understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, routing, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience troubleshooting application-access, authentication, and connectivity issues.
• Familiarity with cloud-hosted and on-premises app architectures.
• Experience with log analysis, troubleshooting tools, and structured problem-solving.
• Scripting or automation (PowerShell or Python) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provides engineering and operational support for Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), including onboarding, lifecycle management, troubleshooting, and service improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and service reliability.
• Design and implement secure private access solutions with application owners, infra teams, and vendors.
• Troubleshoot complex app-access issues involving authentication, connectivity, DNS, routing, and policy enforcement.
• Configure and support private access technologies, including segments, policies, connectors, and identity integrations.
• Onboard new apps/services to the private access platform while ensuring user experience and security compliance.
• Collaborate with identity, networking, cloud, security, server, app, and support teams to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain technical docs, SOPs, and implementation standards.
• Monitor service health, analyze trends, and propose improvements for reliability and scalability.
• Build relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to support operations and initiatives.
• Take ownership from report through resolution, including communication and documentation.
• Participate in architectural discussions and project planning for secure access tech.
