Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Zero Trust Cyber Security Engineer to drive ZTA adoption across cloud and on-prem environments. You will partner with government stakeholders to assess, map to frameworks like NIST and RMF, and advance Zero Trust maturity to support DoD objectives.

You will lead readiness assessments, implement governance and policy recommendations, and mentor engineers while staying current on evolving cybersecurity technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of network/security engineering experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Active Secret clearance and IA Level III certification (CISSP, CASP+, CCSP, CISA, etc.).
• Experience supporting DoD or federal government environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with NIST, RMF, FedRAMP, FISMA and related security frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Perform Zero Trust readiness assessments, including gap analyses and maturity assessments.
• Develop and execute Zero Trust implementation plans and roadmaps.
• Evaluate on-premises and cloud enclaves for Zero Trust adoption opportunities.
• Design and implement Zero Trust security controls across users, devices, networks, apps, data, and infrastructure.
• Research and recommend emerging Zero Trust technologies based on requirements.
• Coordinate Zero Trust initiatives with stakeholders across organizations.
