Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Sr. Cyber Security Architect to shape and secure the client’s technology stack. You will drive enterprise architecture across identity, devices, networks, apps, and data within a Zero Trust framework.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage risk, and ensure alignment with NIST RMF and federal directives while modernizing security posture across cloud and on‑prem environments.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in a technical discipline
• Experience: 10+ years of related experience
• Desired Technical skills: OS (Linux/Windows/MacOS), scripting (Python/Perl/Shell), SIEM (Qradar/Splunk/Elastic), on-prem and cloud, IDS/IPS, VMware stack
• Security clearance: TS with SCI
• US citizenship required
• Role: Onsite presence with telework option; limited CONUS travel

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise cybersecurity architecture across identity, devices, networks, apps and data in a Zero Trust model.
• Develop secure architectures for hybrid on-prem/cloud environments and containers.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to oversee threat modeling, secure API design, encryption and secrets management.
