Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Zero Trust Cyber Security Engineer to support enterprise Zero Trust (ZT) initiatives across cloud and on-premises environments in the United States, Illinois.

You will partner with government stakeholders and technical teams to assess current-state environments, identify security gaps, develop implementation roadmaps, and advance Zero Trust maturity toward 2027 and 2032 objectives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in network, architecture, or security engineering.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
• Hands-on with enterprise security tech (Splunk, Palo Alto, Cisco, Zscaler, Microsoft Security, ELK).
• Familiarity with NIST, RMF, FedRAMP, FISMA and related frameworks.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform Zero Trust readiness assessments, gap analyses and current-state evaluations.
• Develop and execute Zero Trust implementation plans and migration roadmaps.
• Evaluate on-premises and cloud enclaves for Zero Trust adoption.
• Support design and implementation of Zero Trust security controls across users, devices, networks, apps, data, and infrastructure.
• Research and evaluate emerging Zero Trust technologies and provide recommendations.
