Job summary

Carrington is seeking a CRM Developer II to collaborate with business and IT teams in designing, developing, and administering Zendesk-based customer support solutions. The role focuses on configuration, integrations, reporting, and ongoing maintenance to support multiple business lines.

The position requires 3–5 years of Zendesk experience, strong JavaScript/SQL skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Qualifications

• . Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical work experience.
• . Three to five (3-5) years hands-on experience with Zendesk (Support, Guide, Talk, Explore) or similar CRM/customer support platforms.
• . Three to five (3-5) years’ experience with JavaScript and SQL.
• . Three to five (3-5) years’ experience with REST API integrations.
• . Experience supporting a shared Zendesk instance across multiple business lines is a plus.
• . Zendesk administration certification preferred.
• . Strong SDLC knowledge and best practices.
• . Proficient with Zendesk Support, Guide, Talk, including SMS/voice channel configuration.
• . Familiarity with Zendesk Sunshine and REST API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a CRM technical contributor and administrator for Carrington’s Zendesk platform (Support, Guide, Chat/Messaging, Talk, and Explore).
• Provide Zendesk technical guidance to business partners, end users, and the PMO on initiatives.
• Participate in planning sessions for Zendesk enhancements, integrations, and daily issues.
• Design, configure, test, and deploy changes to Zendesk fields, forms, triggers, automations, macros, views, and dashboards.
• Develop custom Zendesk (Explore) reports and dashboards as requested.
