Job summary

Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare provides Comprehensive Therapeutic Support Services and seeks compassionate ISTs (IST I‑III) to assist youths with I/DD in home and community settings in Warren County, NJ.

As an IST, you will teach daily living skills, safety, and independence using PBS strategies, with 5–35 hours weekly in hands-on, real-life environments and case coordination with families.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
• Must serve youth who meet NJ ISS eligibility criteria (CSOC/DDD eligible, NJ residents)
• Valid New Jersey Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently in home and community settings
• Must pass all state and federal background checks
• Pre-employment, post-conditional job offer drug screen required
• Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to youth in home and community settings
• Implement Positive Behavior Support (PBS) strategies and skill acquisition plans
• Support development of Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Behavioral Needs, including Self-Care, Functional Skills, Behavioral Support, and Socialization
• Teach appropriate social behavior
• Utilize redirection and proactive strategies to address challenging behavior
• Train and coach parents/guardians to support skill generalization and consistency
• Collect accurate service data and submit visit notes per compliance standards
• Ensure client safety and well-being at all times
• Participate in case reviews, team meetings, supervision, and required trainings
• Follow all agency policies, NJ CSOC/DDD guidelines, and professional standards
• Implement PBS and skill-building interventions with fidelity
• Teach adaptive, social, and daily living skills
• Support caregivers with training and carryover strategies
• Communicate progress and concerns to supervising IST I
