Job summary

Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare in Somerset County, NJ, is seeking compassionate Individual Support Technicians (IST I–III) to support youth ages 5–21 with I/DD in home and community settings. The role emphasizes daily living skill development, safety, and independence using Positive Behavior Support.

ISTs work 5–35 hours per week with 2–4 hour shifts. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree, PBS/ADL planning experience, and valid NJ driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, special education, social work, human services, or related field.
• ≥ 1 year supervised experience developing and implementing PBS/ADL intervention plans.
• Experience supervising or mentoring support staff.
• Strong data analysis and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to youth in home and community settings.
• Implement PBS strategies and skill acquisition plans.
• Support development of ADLs and behavioral needs.
• Train and coach parents/guardians to support skill generalization.
• Collect accurate service data and submit visit notes per compliance standards.
• Ensure client safety and well‑being at all times.
