Job summary

Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare is seeking compassionate Individual Support Technicians to work with youth aged 5–21 in home and community settings in Warren County, NJ. The IST role focuses on building independent living skills and safe daily routines using PBS methods, with flexible hours ranging from 5 to 35 per week.

You will work hands-on to implement behavioral supports, collaborate with families, and participate in trainings and case reviews while ensuring client safety and progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, special education, social work, human services, or related field.
• ≥ 1 year supervised experience implementing behavior support plans and teaching ADL/IADL skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to youth in home and community settings.
• Implement PBS strategies and skill acquisition plans.
• Support development of ADLs and behavioral needs, including self‑care, functional skills, and socialization.
• Teach appropriate social behavior and utilize proactive strategies to address challenging behavior.
• Train and coach parents/guardians to support skill generalization and consistency.
• Collect accurate service data and submit visit notes per compliance standards.
