Job summary

Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare is seeking an Individual Support Technician (IST I) to assist youth with I/DD in home and community settings. The ISTs provide hands-on skill-building, implement PBS strategies, and promote independence and safety.

Roles include developing daily living skills, collaborating with families, and ensuring compliance with NJ guidelines. Flexible hours and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, special education, social work, human services or related field.
• At least 1 year supervised experience developing and implementing PBS/ADL intervention plans.
• Experience supervising or mentoring support staff.
• Strong data analysis and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to youth in home and community settings.
• Implement PBS strategies and skill acquisition plans.
• Develop ADLs and behavioral support plans (self-care, functional skills, behavior redirection, socialization).
• Train and coach parents/guardians to support skill generalization.
• Collect accurate service data and submit visit notes per compliance standards.
• Ensure client safety and well-being at all times.
• Participate in case reviews, team meetings, supervision, and trainings.
• Follow NJ CSOC/DDD guidelines and professional standards.
