Job summary

Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare seeks compassionate Individual Support Technicians to assist youth (5–21) with I/DD in home and community settings. You will support daily living skills, behavior strategies, and socialization under supervision, with varied hours (2–4 hour shifts) tailored to families and programs.

The role focuses on hands-on skill-building, independence, safety, and collaboration with families and a multidisciplinary team to promote meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years supervised experience implementing behavior support plans and teaching ADL/IADL skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to youth in home and community settings.
• Implement PBS strategies and skill acquisition plans.
• Support development of ADLs and IADLs: self-care, functional skills, behavior management, socialization.
• Teach appropriate social behavior and redirection strategies.
• Train and coach parents/guardians to support skill generalization and consistency.
• Collect accurate service data and submit visit notes per compliance standards.
• Ensure client safety and well-being at all times.
• Participate in case reviews, team meetings, supervision, and trainings.
• Follow agency policies and NJ CSOC/DDD guidelines.
