Job summary

Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a Youth Sports Instructor to join our team. You’ll lead on-site youth sports programming, warmups, activities, and games, while following YMCA curriculum in basketball, soccer, football, and more.

Minimum age 16, with the ability to engage kids, supervise activities, and maintain a safe, clean environment. Availability mornings, evenings, and weekends is preferred. You’ll work with a supportive team in a nonprofit that strengthens the community.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16.
• Instructing in basketball/soccer/football and other YMCA sports.
• Ability to perform activities requiring sustained concentration and attention.
• Mornings, nights, and/or weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Run on-site instruction for youth sports programming including stretch & warmup, activities, & games.
• Teach age-appropriate skills following YMCA curriculum for respective sport.
• Provide a safe & clean environment that allows members and participants to learn YMCA programs.
• Lead classes with positivity & enthusiasm.
• Provide excellent service to members and participants.

What is needed for this job:

• Minimum 16 years of age.
