Job summary

Ambler Area YMCA is seeking a Youth Sports Instructor to lead on-site youth sports programming, including warmups, activities and games, across basketball, soccer, football and more. This role supports a safe, fun environment and follows YMCA curriculum.

Ideal candidates are at least 16 years old with experience instructing youth sports and flexible availability including mornings, evenings, and weekends. Join a non-profit team dedicated to community impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum 16 years of age.
• Excellent knowledge of instructing in the program area - Basketball, Soccer, Football, and more.
• Mornings, nights, and/or weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Run on-site instruction for youth sports programming including stretch & warmup, activities, & games for respective sport.
• Teach age-appropriate skills following YMCA curriculum for respective sport.
• Provide a safe and clean environment that allows members and participants to learn YMCA programs.
• Lead classes with positivity & enthusiasm.
• Provide excellent service to members and participants.

What is needed for this job:

• Minimum 16 years of age.

• Mornings, nights, and/or weekend availability.
