Job summary

Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a Youth Sports Instructor in Havertown, PA to help children reach their potential through athletics. You will run on-site youth sports programming, lead warmups, and teach skills per YMCA curriculum while maintaining a safe, engaging environment.

Responsibilities include delivering sports activities with positivity and high energy, ensuring exceptional member service, and supporting the team through ongoing training and collaboration with staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 16 years of age.
• Excellent knowledge of instructing in basketball, soccer, football and other YMCA activities.
• Ability to perform activities requiring sustained concentration.
• Mornings, evenings, and weekend availability.

• Run on-site instruction for youth sports programming including stretch & warmup, activities, & games for respective sport.
• Teach age-appropriate skills following YMCA curriculum for respective sport.
• Provide a safe & clean environment that allows members and participants to learn YMCA programs.

• Provide excellent service to members and participants.

What is needed for this job:

• Minimum 16 years of age
