Job summary

The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a Youth Sports Instructor at Boyertown YMCA in Boyertown, PA. You will lead on-site youth sports programs, running warmups, activities and games to help kids develop skills and have fun.

Youth-friendly professionals with a minimum age of 16, capable of mornings, evenings or weekend shifts, and strong ability to guide participants through YMCA curriculum across sports like basketball, soccer and football are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 16 years of age.
• Excellent knowledge of instructing in the program area - Basketball, Soccer, Football, and more!
• Ability to perform activities which require sustained concentration and attention.
• Mornings, nights, and/or weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Run on-site instruction for youth sports programming including stretch & warmup, activities, & games for respective sport.
• Teach age-appropriate skills following YMCA curriculum for respective sport.
• Provide a safe & clean environment that allows members and participants to learn YMCA programs.
• Lead classes with positivity & enthusiasm.
• Provide excellent service to members and participants.
