Job summary

Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a Youth Sports Instructor to lead on-site youth sports programs, including warmups, activities, and games, across sports like basketball, soccer, and football. You will teach age-appropriate skills following YMCA curricula, creating a safe, engaging environment and delivering excellent member service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 16 years of age.
• Excellent knowledge of instructing in the program area (Basketball, Soccer, Football, and more).
• Ability to perform activities requiring sustained concentration and attention.
• Mornings, nights, and/or weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Run on-site instruction for youth sports programming including stretch & warmup, activities, & games for respective sport.
• Teach age-appropriate skills following YMCA curriculum for respective sport.
• Provide a safe & clean environment that allows members and participants to learn YMCA programs.
• Lead classes with positivity & enthusiasm.
• Provide excellent service to members and participants.
