Job summary

Spring Valley YMCA in Royersford, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Youth Sports Instructor to lead on-site youth sport activities and classes. You’ll guide kids through age-appropriate drills, games, and stretching, following YMCA curriculum and fostering a positive, inclusive environment.

We're offering a role with mornings, evenings, and weekend options, a chance to develop coaching skills, and access to YMCA membership perks as part of a supportive community focused on youth development and healthy

Qualifications

• Minimum 16 years of age.
• Excellent knowledge of instructing in the program area (Basketball, Soccer, Football, etc.).
• Ability to perform activities requiring sustained concentration and attention.
• Mornings, nights, and/or weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Run on-site instruction for youth sports programming including stretch & warmup, activities, and games.
• Teach age-appropriate skills following YMCA curriculum for the respective sport.
• Provide a safe and clean environment that allows members and participants to learn YMCA programs.
• Lead classes with positivity and enthusiasm.
• Provide excellent service to members and participants.
