Job summary

The Phoenixville YMCA in Phoenixville, PA is seeking a Youth Sports Instructor to run on-site youth sports programming, including warmups, activities, and games across sports like basketball, soccer, and football.

You will follow the YMCA curriculum to teach age-appropriate skills, foster a safe, engaging learning environment, and present classes with enthusiasm. Availability mornings, evenings, and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 16 years of age.
• Excellent knowledge of instructing in the program area (Basketball, Soccer, Football, and more).
• Ability to perform activities requiring sustained concentration.
• Mornings, evenings, and weekends availability.

Responsibilities

• Run on-site youth sports programming with warmup and activities per sport.
• Follow YMCA curriculum to teach age-appropriate skills.
• Create a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment.
• Lead classes with positivity and enthusiasm.
• Provide excellent service to members and participants.

What is needed for this job:
