Job summary

Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a Youth Sports Instructor to lead on-site youth sports classes and activities. You will run warmups, teach sport-specific skills, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for children in our YMCA programs.

The role requires mornings, evenings, or weekend availability, with a passion for coaching and helping youth reach their potential. Join a nonprofit team dedicated to strengthening the community through athletics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 16 years of age.
• Excellent knowledge of instructing in the program area - Basketball, Soccer, Football, and more!
• Ability to perform activities which require sustained concentration and attention.
• Mornings, nights, and/or weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Run on-site instruction for youth sports programming including stretch & warmup, activities, & games for respective sport.
• Teach age-appropriate skills following YMCA curriculum for respective sport.
• Provide a safe & clean environment that allows members and participants to learn YMCA programs.
• Lead classes with positivity & enthusiasm.
• Provide excellent service to members and participants.
