Job summary

Devereux Massachusetts seeks an Assistant Program Manager to support female youth aged 12–21 with complex behavioral and emotional needs. The role focuses on providing therapeutic interventions in a safe setting and collaborating to shape program vision.

The position involves scheduling, staffing, and contributing to treatment planning, with a strong emphasis on organizational and communication skills to drive positive outcomes in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High School Diploma with two years of congregate care experience or Bachelor’s degree with one year of congregate care experience required. Degrees in psychology, social work, sociology, or related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• MAPS certification within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Be passionate about working with and helping youth.
• Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager/Director to create program vision and a positive working environment.
• Assist with the planning and implementation of programing for individuals.
• Assist with staffing and other aspects of program management as needed.
• Possess a high level of organizational and communication skills.
