Job summary
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Rutland, MA, seeks a Direct Support/Care Professional to provide compassionate direct supervision, safety, and therapeutic interventions for youth with complex needs. You will support activities of daily living, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license required.
- High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
- MAPS certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
- Previous experience working with individuals under 21 with disorders preferred.
Responsibilities
- Be passionate about working with and helping youth.
- Provide direct supervision ensuring safety and security for all youth.
- Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate, safe environment.
- Engage with youth in a meaningful and positive manner, teaching and prompting appropriate behaviors.
- Teach and assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills.
- Complete required documentation, such as progress notes and incident reports.
