Job summary

Devereux Massachusetts is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to lead therapeutic activities for youth with complex needs in Fitchburg, MA. The role involves collaboration with the Program Manager and staff to implement engaging programming that supports daily living, coping, and social skills.

The position offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus and an additional $250 bonus if MAP certified, with a full-time schedule including Sundays and midweek shifts in a supportive behavioral healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High School Diploma with two years of congregate care experience or Bachelor's degree with one year of congregate care experience required. Degrees in psychology/social work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Must attend a 2-week paid orientation, Rutland, MA.
• MAPS certification required or within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Be passionate about working with and helping youth.
• Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager/Director to create program vision and a positive working environment.
• Assist with the planning and implementation of programming for individuals.
• Assist with staffing and other aspects of program management as needed.
• Possess a high level of organizational and communication skills.
