Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Fitchburg, MA is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to lead youth-focused services within the Cathy House program, with a 1:2 staff-to-student ratio.

This full-time role offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus and an additional $250 MAP certification bonus. The schedule includes double Sundays (7am–5pm) and Tue/Wed shifts, with a strong focus on therapeutic interventions and collaborative leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High School Diploma with two years congregate care experience or Bachelor’s degree with one year of Congregate care experience preferred.
• MAPS certification or able to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be passionate about working with and helping youth.
• Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager/Director to create program vision and a positive working environment.
• Assist with the planning and implementation of programming for individuals.
• Assist with staffing and other aspects of program management as needed.
• Possess a high level of organizational and communication skills.
