Job summary

Devereux Massachusetts is seeking Direct Support/Care Professionals to work with youth in Rutland, MA. You will provide direct supervision, ensure safety, and deliver therapeutic interventions in a compassionate setting.

We offer 2nd and 3rd shift options, a $2,000 sign-on bonus for full-time and $1,000 for part-time, plus a $250 MAP certification bonus. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, life insurance, and more.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• MAPS certification required or obtainable within 6 months of employment.
• Experience working with youth with psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be passionate about working with and helping youth.
• Ensure safety and security of all youth by providing direct supervision.
• Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate, safe environment.
• Engage with youth to teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors with positive reinforcement.
• Teach Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills.
• Complete required documentation such as progress notes and incident reports.
