Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of America in Texas seeks a dedicated program facilitator to plan, implement, and supervise diverse youth activities. You will foster healthy relationships with members, guide behavior, and ensure safety and high-quality programming daily.

You will also help recruit volunteers, collaborate with parents, and assist with budgeting and program evaluation. Strong communication skills and at least two years of youth/family experience are required; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ experience working with youth and families.
• Ability to plan, organize and supervise youth activities.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, supervise and evaluate core program areas including education, athletics, arts & crafts, technology and games room.
• Develop healthy relationships with members and provide guidance and role modeling.
• Organize daily drop-in activities for members and visitors.
• Identify opportunities for new programs and engage parents as needed.
• Monitor program achievement against targets and suggest improvements.
• Maintain safe environment and oversee facilities and equipment.
• Assist with budget preparation with Club Director.
• Recruit, train and supervise volunteers; provide feedback and growth opportunities.
• Participate in required trainings and engage with community partners.
