Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of King County is seeking a Programs Director to lead Club sites, secure resources, and drive outcomes for youth and families. You will plan and manage budgets, foster partnerships, and ensure high-quality program delivery and safe facilities.

You will collaborate with district partners, staff, and volunteers to deliver the BGCKC mission, aligning with our equity and inclusion values while supervising operations and advancing youth development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Two years' management/supervision/leadership experience.
• Two years’ youth development experience.
• Experience in personnel supervision, facilities management, and recruitment/retention.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage databases and pull accurate reports.
• Strong organizational skills with professional presence.
• Budget preparation, control, and management experience.
• Ability to lead a team.
• Experience implementing youth discipline techniques.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive BGCKC vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead Club programs, ensuring high quality experiences for youth, families, staff and the community.
• Collaborate with Marketing/Communications to advertise Club programs.
• Develop partnerships with schools, districts and community organizations to expand impact.
• Lead internal staff to operate efficiently, maintain safe facilities, and deliver excellent customer service.
• Coordinate with Area Directors and Operations to ensure successful outcomes for BGCKC and members.
• Serve as primary site leader for community connections and local school relationships.
