Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City is seeking a Program Director to oversee the delivery of programs across all areas. You will plan, develop, implement and supervise staff and activities, ensuring engaging experiences for members ages 5 to 18 and strong partnerships with parents and the community.

Working with the Unit Director, you will coordinate program staff, lead meetings, mentor volunteers, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and one year experience or five years directly related work experience.
• Experience with program planning, delivery and implementation.
• Management and supervisory experience.
• Strong communication skills and solid interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of a broad range of programs within the Club in all areas.
• Plan, develop, oversee implementation and supervise programs and program staff.
• Provide communication link with parents, community groups and members.
• Work with Unit Director to ensure opportunities for members in planning and programming.
• Attend weekly staff meetings and assist with volunteers and community relations.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the Club and ensure a safe, productive workplace.
