Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of King County seeks a part-time Youth Development Professional to engage with youth, support an Outcome Driven Club Experience, and ensure safety and development in areas like gym, learning center, and kitchen.

The role emphasizes direct youth interaction, boundary setting, collaboration with families, and delivery of BGCA programs and HYLAs. COVID-19 and background checks are part of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Experience working with a non-profit youth development agency.
• Must be 18+ years old to work in a licensed program.
• Strong organization skills and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Ability to motivate youth in a positive way.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and healthy Club environment to support youth development.
• Plan, develop, implement and evaluate programs.
• Track attendance, coursework and behavior data.
• Foster partnerships with parents and families.
• Deliver core BGCA programs and HYLAs.
