Boys & Girls Clubs Of The Valley is seeking a Youth Development Specialist in Phoenix to plan, implement, coordinate, and supervise programs for youth and teens. This part-time role supports diverse activities and fosters positive youth development.

You will manage calendars and rosters, transport youths, ensure safety, and assist with the federal meal program. CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler certifications are required within 90 days, along with a high school diploma and a Arizona driver's

Qualifications

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler certifications required within 90 days.
  • Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates programming in various areas of the Club (arts, gym, etc )
  • Manages calendars, lesson plans, pre/post testing, roster keeping and participation tracking
  • Transports youth and/or teens to various club locations via BGCMP vehicles
  • Ensures the safety of all members and ensures proper documentation is completed
  • Assists with Federal Food program as directed
