Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs Of The Valley seeks a Youth Development Specialist in Phoenix, AZ to plan, implement, and supervise youth programs. You will coordinate activities, manage records, and ensure safety across club locations, with transportation duties as needed.

The role requires working with diverse youth, strong customer service, and collaboration with staff and families to promote positive youth development.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler’s Certification within 90 days.
• Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates programming in various areas of the Club (arts, gym, etc).
• Manages calendars, lesson plans, pre/post testing, roster keeping and participation tracking.
• Transports youth to club locations using BGCMP vehicles.
• Ensures safety of all members and proper documentation.
• Assists with the Federal Food program as directed.
