Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs Of The Valley is seeking a Youth Development Specialist to plan, implement, coordinate, and supervise programs and activities for youth and teens at our Phoenix clubs. The role emphasizes safety, engaging activities, and strong collaboration with staff.

The position requires organizing calendars, lesson plans, and attendance tracking while supporting a positive youth development environment and adherence to program guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler’s Certification within 90 days of employment.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates programming in various areas of the Club (arts, gym, etc )
• Manages administrative duties to include: calendars, lesson plans, pre/post testing, roster keeping and participation tracking
• Transports youth and/or teens to various club location via BGCMP vehicles
• Ensures the safety of all members and ensures proper documentation is completed
• Assists with Federal Food program as directed
