Qualifications

  • Must have High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be 18+ and have 3 months (455 hours) of school-age child experience.
  • Must meet physical demands of the position.
  • Live in Colorado while employed.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to ELCS/Discovery Link policies and district regulations for student supervision, safety, and staff conduct.
  • Follow Discovery Link staff conduct guidelines and licensing requirements, including staff-to-child ratios.
  • Supervise students independently and provide active supervision for safety.
  • Implement daily program schedules, curriculum, and engaging activities.
  • Maintain appropriate student behavior consistent with the district Behavior Matrix.
  • Understand accident reporting and required recordkeeping procedures.
  • Prepare, maintain, and restore program spaces; review daily schedules and staffing.
  • Foster positive relationships with families and staff; substitute at program sites as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
