Job summary

Denver Public Schools is seeking dedicated staff to support a safe, nurturing learning environment for students in a Discovery Link program. The role emphasizes supervision, collaboration with a Program Leader, and adherence to district policies to promote student well-being and achievement.

The position requires a minimum high school diploma, ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and Universal Precautions certification, and a commitment to equity and inclusive education in Colorado.

Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • Ability to become CPR/First Aid Certified and Universal Precautions Certified.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity and supporting all students.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to ELCS/Discovery Link policies and regulations related to student supervision, safety, and staff conduct.
  • Maintain required staff-to-child ratios at all times.
  • Support daily program schedule and supervise students with a Program Leader.
  • Maintain appropriate student behavior per district policies.
  • Assist in planning engaging curriculum and activities, including outdoor games.
  • Prepare and restore program spaces; review schedules and supervision expectations.
  • Foster positive relationships with families and school personnel; substitute at sites as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
