Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age with at least three months (455 hours) of experience with school-age children.
  • Lead for racial and educational excellence and dismantle inequities; support all students.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to ELCS/Discovery Link policies and regulations for student supervision, safety, and staff conduct.
  • Maintain staff-to-child ratios as required by licensing guidelines.
  • Supervise students independently and provide active supervision for safety.
  • Implement daily program schedules and engaging activities, including movement-based programming.
  • Maintain appropriate student behavior per district policies.
  • Complete accident reporting, incident documentation, and other required records with supervisor support.
  • Prepare, maintain, and restore program spaces; review daily schedules and staffing.
  • Foster positive relationships with families and staff; provide accurate program information; substitute as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned
