Job summary

Denver Public Schools is seeking staff to support Extended Learning and Community Schools programs in Colorado. The role emphasizes safety, supervision, and collaborative engagement with students, families, and staff to promote well‑being and achievement.

Hourly pay is $20.50, with additional total rewards including time off, health and wellness benefits, and PERA retirement. Applicants must reside in Colorado and be able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma/GED.
• Ability to become CPR/First Aid Certified and Universal Precautions Certified.
• Lead for racial and educational excellence and dismantle inequities.
• Live and work with a permanent Colorado address.
• Meet the physical demands of the position.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to ELCS/Discovery Link, District, and DHS policies for supervision, safety, and conduct.
• Maintain staff-to-child ratios as required.
• Support daily program schedule and supervise students with a Program Leader.
• Assist in planning engaging curriculum and outdoor activities.
• Prepare and restore program spaces; review schedules and assignments.
• Foster positive relationships with families and staff; cover sites as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
