Job summary

Denver Public Schools in Colorado is seeking program staff to supervise and engage students in after-school activities, Discovery Link. You will implement daily schedules, supervise safely, and foster positive relationships with families and staff.

Requirements include a minimum high school diploma, at least 18 years old with 3 months of experience with school-age children, ability to meet physical demands, and certifications in First Aid, CPR, and medication administration.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old and have at least three months (455 hours) of experience with school-age children.
  • Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to ELCS/Discovery Link and DPS policies for supervision and safety.
  • Maintain required staff-to-child ratios and supervise students actively.
  • Implement daily schedules and engaging activities, including movement.
  • Foster positive relationships with families and staff; supervise at program sites as needed.
