Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED.
  • Ability to become CPR/First Aid Certified and Universal Precautions Certified.
  • Live in Colorado while working with us.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to ELCS/Discovery Link policies and regulations related to student supervision, tracking, safety, and staff conduct.
  • Maintain required staff-to-child ratios at all times.
  • Support the daily program schedule and supervise students with a Program Leader.
  • Maintain appropriate student behavior standards per the district Behavior Matrix.
  • Understand and follow accident reporting, incident documentation, and other required recordkeeping procedures.
  • Assist in planning and implementing engaging stationary and movement-based curriculum and activities, including outdoor games and recreational programming.
  • Prepare, maintain, and restore program spaces before and after use, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and completion of housekeeping duties; review daily schedules, staffing assignments, and supervision expectations.
  • Foster positive relationships with families, school personnel, and Discovery Link staff; provide accurate program information, substitute at program sites as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned
