Job summary

Old Colony YMCA is seeking a Site Coordinator to lead the School Age program under the School Age Director. You will plan activities, support a team of Assistant Leaders and Group Leaders, connect with families, and ensure a safe, engaging experience for every child.

You will build relationships, manage daily operations, ensure compliance with safety guidelines, handle records, and keep the program organized even when challenges arise.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership abilities and experience guiding groups.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage children and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead the adventure! Plan and bring to life fun, creative, and engaging activities that keep kids excited to come back each day.
• Be a positive and encouraging leader for Assistant leaders and Group Leaders- helping them create the magic.
• Help your team feel supported, motivated, Host meetings and encourage them to be ready to bring their best energy every day.
• Build meaningful relationships with children and families and help create a strong sense of community and boost our enrollment.
• Keep the program organized and running smoothly—even when the unexpected happens!
• Handle children's files and make sure everything is up to date.
• Help keep the program in compliance with YMCA policies, licensing requirements, and all safety guidelines.Make safety a priority while following EEC protocol, and guidance from the School Age Director. (Serving food, Site set up, Files Ect.)
• Be a problem-solver, cheerleader, planner, and team player all rolled into one!
• Lead by example and bring the YMCA values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility into everything you do.
