Job summary

Old Colony YMCA in Middleboro, Massachusetts seeks a Site Coordinator to oversee the School Age licensed program at Camp Yomechas. Under the Senior Child Care Director, you will plan activities, supervise staff, and engage families while ensuring child safety and learning.

The role requires at least 20 years old, CPR/First Aid, and appropriate education/experience, with occasional early mornings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 20 years.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.
• Evidence of physical examination within last 12 months.
• Ability to communicate with children, families, resources and supervisor through app, phone, emails and face-to-face meetings.
• Negative Mantoux TB test and immunity for measles, mumps, and rubella.
• Ability to lift/move heavy equipment and clean when necessary.
• Will sometimes work early morning, late nights and weekends.
• Strong oral communication skills for public speaking responsibilities.
• Ability to understand Y-USA focus areas: Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities for the School Age licensed program.
• Provide supervision to ensure each child’s safety and learning experiences.
