Job summary

ExpertCare is seeking reliable Youth Mentors to work 1:1 with recipients in their homes and in the community across Southeast Michigan. You will support, encourage, and help with skill-building activities while helping recipients pursue personal goals outside the home.

Partial/full-time positions are available. Paid training, flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and a virtual interview process are offered as part of our commitment to a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to recipients in their homes and communities.
• Assist with skill-building activities and helping recipients grow personal goals.
• Support recipients in community engagement and transportation to activities.
