Job summary

ExpertCare in Southeast Michigan is seeking reliable Youth Mentors to work 1:1 with recipients in their homes, supporting, encouraging and helping with skill-building activities.

You will also bring clients into the community to grow personal goals outside the home, with a flexible schedule, paid training and weekly pay. Full and part-time positions are available, and reliable transportation to assignments plus background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings
• Must be 18 years or older

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with recipients in clients' homes to support, encourage, and help with skill-building activities
• Accompany recipients into the community to grow personal goals outside the home environment
