Job summary

KidStrong Natomas is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead center operations, coaching, and sales initiatives. The role focuses on delivering excellent experiences for kids and families while driving key business metrics in a fast-paced environment.

You will partner with the General Manager on onboarding, training, and evaluating coaching staff, and support ongoing professional development through LearnUpon. This is a hands-on leadership position with no direct reports.

Qualifications

• Athletic or coaching background with experience working with kids 15 months–11 years.
• Achieve Coach Certification through HQ Training.
• Complete LearnUpon training as required by HQ Training.
• Pediatric OT/PT experience is a plus, not required.
• Prior management experience preferred, not required.
• Experience with Google and Microsoft platforms.
• Experience with systems like ZenPlanner, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, and ADP preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Understand the center’s key KPIs and financials to inform decisions.
• Build and maintain relationships with KidStrong families and provide exceptional service.
• Oversee center initiatives such as maintenance, training, and brand consistency.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly center cleaning and maintenance.
• Manage a 4-day schedule with 1 weekend shift.
• Communicate schedule changes via Slack and Email.
• Sell and schedule events to maximize profitability.
• Lead coaching culture and assess coaches using the KidStrong DNA.
