Job summary

A community-focused youth organization is seeking a Youth Development Professional in Wilmington, Delaware. In this role, you will assist in developing and supervising a high-quality childcare program compliant with state regulations. Responsibilities include ensuring safety during activities, maintaining relationships with parents and staff, and being a positive role model for children aged 6-12. Ideal candidates should have relevant certifications and a passion for youth development. This offers part-time medical benefits after one year of service and other employee incentives.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to drive an 8-passenger van is required at Level II and III.
• Completion of First Aid/CPR certification is needed within two months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Childcare Director in delivering age-appropriate programs.
• Ensure safe implementation of all programs and activities.
• Maintain relationships with parents and staff.
