Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is seeking a Youth Development Professional in Smyrna, Delaware. This position is responsible for assisting in the development and operation of a quality school-age childcare program for children aged 6-12. Candidates must have a School Age Site Assistant Certificate and the ability to pass a background check. Strong communication skills, childcare experience, and CPR/First Aid certification are essential. The role offers part-time hours Monday–Friday with eligible benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to drive a van if 20 years or older.
• Ability to pass an FBI and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operating a quality school-age childcare program.
• Supervise children in compliance with state regulations.
• Maintain relationships with parents and staff.
