Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is seeking a Youth Development Professional at Allen Frear Elementary to help deliver a safe, engaging program for ages 6–12 under the supervision of a Childcare or Program Director. Responsibilities include supporting age-appropriate activities and ensuring compliance with Delacare licensing for school-age centers.

The role requires certificates, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must meet FBI/Delaware background checks as per DelaCare rules.
• Must hold valid School Age Site Assistant/Coordinator/Administrator certificates.
• Ability to drive an 8-passenger van and pass license checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and operating a quality school-age childcare program.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing for school-age centers.
• Support relationships with parents, schools, and staff.
