Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is seeking a Youth Development Professional for school sites in the Hockessin, DE area. The role supports the development and operation of a quality school-age childcare program in compliance with Delacare regulations.

Responsibilities include delivering age-appropriate activities for ages 6–12, ensuring safety, partnering with parents and school staff, and upholding the organization’s values and licensing standards. Part-time role with benefits available.

Qualifications

• Must meet Delacare rules for school-age centers.
• Ability to supervise children ages 6–12.
• Pass FBI and state background checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering age-appropriate programs reflecting Boys & Girls Club’s core areas.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment and facilities.
• Maintain relationships with parents, school staff, and visitors.
• Model positive behavior and adhere to club policies.
