Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is seeking a Youth Development Professional to support development and operation of a quality school-age childcare program in Clayton, Delaware, compliant with Delacare rules. Under supervision of the Childcare or Program Director, you will help deliver structured activities for children ages 6–12 and ensure a safe program environment.

Position is part-time with benefits; applicants must meet certification requirements and pass all required background checks.

Qualifications

• Must have FBI clearance and Delaware criminal history background checks.
• Possession of required School Age site certificates per level.
• Must have valid driver’s license for Level II/III (points <5).

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering age-appropriate programs for children ages 6–12.
• Help ensure safe implementation of all programs and activities.
• Maintain relationships with parents, school staff and visitors.
• Adhere to state licensing requirements for school-age centers.
