Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is seeking a Youth Development Professional to support school-age childcare programs for children ages 6–12. Under supervision, you will help develop and operate a compliant, engaging after‑school program across multiple club sites.

Positions are part‑time with benefits eligible after meeting ACA guidelines. Required certifications include School Age Site Assistant, Coordinator, and/or Administrator certificates, plus FBI and state background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must possess School Age Site Assistant Certificate.
• Level II/III require driving 8-passenger van with valid license and clean record.
• All levels require FBI clearance and background checks per Delaware licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and operation of quality school-age childcare per Delacare rules.
• Deliver age-appropriate programs for children ages 6–12 reflecting core program areas.
• Ensure safe implementation of programs and supervision of children.
