Job summary

YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region is hiring a Youth Development Site Director to lead school-age programs, including Before & After School, Adventure Days, Break Camps and Summer Day Camp. You will supervise staff, mentor counselors, and ensure high-quality, safe experiences for children.

You will collaborate with parents and colleagues, develop age-appropriate curricula, and maintain program standards and licensing compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires 21 years of age or older.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in recreation/education or related field.
• Experience supervising other staff and working with school-age children (4–18).
• Knowledge of child development and ability to foster growth in youth.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Before & After School Programs, Adventure Days, Break Camps, and Summer Day Camp.
• Provide leadership and coaching to counselors and aides within the region.
• Develop and facilitate trainings for Youth Development staff on behavior management and SOPs.
• Manage supply procurement and budget adherence for program needs.
• Ensure safe, nurturing environments and positive relationships with children and parents.
