Job summary

YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region in Colorado Springs is seeking a Youth Development Aide to support Before & After School programs and Summer Day Camp. You will supervise children, foster positive relationships, and collaborate with parents to help youth reach their full potential.

Responsibilities include supervising activities, following safety procedures, completing routine records, and providing leadership and care across program areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16.
• Experience working with school-age children preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification (training available upon hiring)

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing environment for children and engage with participants during activities.
• Supervise all group activities and maintain positive relationships with children and parents.
• Follow program policies, health and safety regulations, and maintain required records.
• Assist with snacks/meals as assigned and be flexible for extended hours or events.
