Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is seeking a Youth Development Professional to support school-age childcare at the Greenwood area site. You will help deliver age-appropriate programs and activities for children ages 6–12, under supervision of the Director.

Responsibilities include program delivery, safety checks, and maintaining positive relationships with families and school staff. FBI/Delaware background checks are required for all levels.

Qualifications

• Must hold School Age Site Assistant Certificate or higher.
• First Aid/CPR Certification required or obtained within 2 months of hire.
• Must possess a School Age Site Coordinator Certificate from the Department of Education.
• Must possess a School Age Site Coordinator Administrator certificate from the Department of Education.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and operation of a quality school-age childcare program.
• Ensure compliance with Delacare rules for school-age centers.
• Supervise children aged 6–12 within program guidelines and safety rules.
• Maintain positive relationships with parents, school staff, and visitors.
